Alfred Sung is a Canadian fashion designer known for his elegant bridal gowns, fragrances, sunglasses, jewellery and fashion accessories. Alfred Sung was born on June 14, 1948 in Shanghai and raised in Hong Kong. He studied couture at the renowned Chambre Syndicale de la Couture Parisienne in Paris and graduated with first place honors.

Soon after graduating from Chambre Syndicale de la Couture Parisienne, Alfred Sung moved to New York to study at the famous Parsons School of Design. In 1972, Alfred Sung moved to Canada and soon opened his own store in Toronto, called Moon. In 1980, He joined with Saul and Joseph Mimran and created the Monaco Group Inc. Through the Manaco Group Inc., the label Alfred Sung was launched and by 1981 it could be found in stores in Canada and the United States.

Alfred Sung Parfums was launched in 1986 through Riviera Concepts and soon became a famous fragrance brand with fragrances such as Sung by Alfred Sung and Shi Alfred Sung. The Alfred Sung brand continues to grow and is the recipient of numerous industry awards for its fashions accomplishments.
