Of all the designer labels that are currently available, perhaps none have had the same impact on the rest of the fashion world as Christian Dior has. The Dior house was also the place where one of the most innovative and daring designers of the 20th century, Yves St Laurent learned his trade as the assistant to the great Christian Dior himself right up until the death of the master in 1957, upon which, Laurent took over the stewardship of the company as head designer.
