Montaigne is a newish Caron scent, noteworthy when it is considered that Caron is a very well established fragrance house with many of their classic scents put on a pedestal today. Introduced in 2007, Montaigne perfume is named for Michel de Montaigne - noted philosopher of the French Renaissance. Montaigne combines jasmine, yellow narcissus and rose, with base notes of spice, wood, amber and resin. This scent is most suitable for day wear, but could easily carry through to a relaxed and casual evening with friends.
