I purchased basic instinct approx. 3 years ago - it was marked down at a mall store. I haven't been able to purchase it in local stores since. I smelled the fragrance in the store, was intrigued by the scent and purchased all remaining bottles(2-3 bottles). I kept a bottle for myself and gave the others as gifts. I gave a bottle to my sister, who adores the fragrance as well as loved the elegant, purple bottle(her favorite color is purple). I would highly recommend this fragrance to anyone who enjoys a scent that is fresh, flirty but not overpowering.

Basic Instinct perfume is a nice clean smell and very distinctive. I get so many compliments when I wear it. I don't like over powering smells. It's wonderful. I buy all the bottles when they put it out in the stores at Christmas time.

Basic Instinct is the best perfume Victoria's Secret has ever made. It is so fresh and clean. You should never have trouble selling it. I buy it every chance I get. Thanks for such a good product.

I LOVE this perfume! I've been wearing it since it came out and get compliments every time I wear it, even by total strangers. Just wish you could get it in the stores still, so thank you for making it still other wise I'd have to commit "Hairy-Cairy".

Basic Instinct perfume was released by Victoria’s Secret in 2004. It is a very sexy and deep fragrance that goes against the cool perfume that this design house usually promotes. The base note of patchouli pulls the floral and vanilla notes together and makes it a stunning evening scent. Basic Instinct perfume is a sharp scent that might not fit everybody’s taste, but it has its niche.
